The Stay United Watchalong is exactly what the title suggests. Watching and commentating on Manchester United fixtures from my perspective. What makes doing these watchalongs so enjoyable are the aspects of first and foremost, watching and learning more about United, and also their opponents. Doing the research prior allows me to deliver a mix of professional and fan-like commentary while interacting with many of you!

The name itself revolves around the current state of affairs when it comes to Manchester United fans and how many tend to interact with each other. No doubt about it, whether there’s a good or bad period, our opinions will all differ which is a good thing, but unfortunately, with that in this day and age comes a flood of negativity due to the lack of alignment in opinions. We all get trapped from time to time due to the nature of being a sports fan. 

What we can do better, including myself, is learn to respect more and debate, thus finding common ground. Our environment shouldn’t consist of dramatic and sensationalist topics because what makes sports content creation unique in comparison to traditional media is its authenticity, relatability and interaction which is why they are looking to pivot as much as they can in that direction.
